One of the first things you will notice when choosing commercial reverse osmosis membranes from Water Logic Water Systems is that we offer only one membrane size, while other companies offer half a dozen or more membranes. Why this difference? We believe that once you understand the difference, you will choose WATER LOGIC Water Systems as your membrane supplier.
Most commercial reverse osmosis membranes operate at 150-250 psi. “At WATER LOGIC Water Systems, our Energy Mizer membranes operate at 80 psi. That’s a big difference! Here’s what you need to know.
Equal production – Our membranes produce the same (or more) amount of water at 80 psi and the same amount of water at 200-250 psi. Production is not reduced.
LESS ENERGY – At 80 psi pressure, you can save 40% or more energy.
LONGER LIFE OF THE SYSTEM – Imagine a maximum blood pressure of 200 instead of 80. When the system is operating at 200 psi, the diaphragms, motors, pumps, fittings, hoses, and regulators are under heavy load. Operating at 80 psi is like the opposite case of high blood pressure. The system performs better and lasts longer.
Our WATER LOGIC water membranes use innovative and patented Energy Mizer Technologyâ„¢ to increase efficiency. HF5 membranes provide the greatest drop in efficiency compared to other membranes at operating pressures up to 80 psi. Our diaphragms are available in all standard 2.5″ and 4″ sizes and come with a protective outer band.
Energy Mizer membranes are the best choice against the negative effects of low temperatures on reverse osmosis production. All elements are shipped dry for unlimited life and ease of use. If you are unsure which membrane is right for you, contact one of our certified water specialists by calling 855-923-6913 or email Water Logic.

Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis removes most contaminants from all water treatment processes. Water flows through a semi-permeable membrane, leaving dissolved particles in a more concentrated solution.
Reverse osmosis is a filtration method in which water passes through a filter membrane whose pores are so small that only pure water can pass through. Other pollutants are physically too large to pass through the membrane and thus do not enter the water supply.
